One of our regular customers asked us to assist with an MRI deinstallation and provide onward transport to Denmark of a Siemens Symphony MRI located in Northern Ireland.
We worked closely with the local trust, attending site several times to establish the most efficient way of removing the magnet in order to avoid closing the main thoroughfare. Although several options were initially explored, we finally decided upon using a truck mounted crane to lift the magnet from a platform that would be built level with the internal floor.
The project went without issue and disruption to traffic was kept to an absolute minimum whilst vehicles were being positioned. The result was a very happy customer and relieved trust.
